Front End

CM Commerce (Previously Conversio) is an email marketing platform that started providing customisable receipts for e-commerce stores and soon evolved into an all in one email marketing platform providing email automations and a wealth of templates.

It’s hard to condensed my work during these three years, for the first two I worked alongside another great Designer taking ownership of the marketing work and several product projects. The product was called Conversio at that time. Some of the projects where I led the design during this time were a refresh of our Product Reviews feature and an updated media library for our emails builder.

CM Commerce

At the end of 2020 Conversio was acquired by Campaign Monitor and it became CM Commerce. From that moment I worked on our product as the sole Product Designer. One of our main focus soon after joining Campaign Monitor was activation and we implemented few improvements to the onboarding experience. I worked closely with our Product Manager to bring the Aha moment closer in our customers’ journey.

One of the things we implemented was a task list with an added gamified experience where users would get extra trial days when completing tasks to increase conversion.

We knew one of the blockers was email design and getting their emails to look nice and closer to their brands so we experimented with a theme creator that would automatically pick the brand from the e-commerce store with option to verify and update, in order to allow them start sending branded emails straight away. Alongside that direction we also created a set of predesigned blocks that brands could use and adapt to create beautiful designs easier and quicker.

Meet Maggie

Towards the end of my time to CM Commerce we created Maggie, an intelligent marketing bot that could automatically design and plan emails to be sent at the right time. Maggie was born to help our busy business owners who were often wearing too many hats.

Improved Reporting

A retention initiative that we worked on around that time was to improve the reporting capabilities by allowing them to access all their data from a single place in a more visual way.
