Marketing Design

Cogsy provides total inventory control for DTC brands. Since the beginning we were sure we didn’t want to be a “spreadsheet on steroids” so we set the challenge of reimagining how a rather rudimentary set of logistics and processes could be streamlined to provide better visibility on stock levels and the tools for a smooth purchasing process.

I worked at Cogsy as the only Designer in house for one year and a half. Working mainly on Product but also helping the Marketing team.

I got the product from a basic UI to accommodate a wide range of features, with a 12% increase in overall app engagement during this time. I worked closely with the Product team on ideation and with the Engineering team on implementation, often taking projects from a problem or opportunity to overseeing the development to ensure the highest quality delivery within the available timeframe and resources. We worked on cycles of 6 weeks. Before a cycle starts I would work with the Product team on ideation and UX flow, often fine tuning the UI details with the engineering team during the 6 weeks cycle. I prepared Figma prototypes during the exploration phase and also to share final designs with the rest of the team. After a feature went live I’ve followed up watching Hotjar recordings and with regular updates from the Customers Success and Growth teams.

Below are some of the projects I worked on:

Growth Plan

The growth plan allows brands to play with different growth scenarios and instantly see how changes in growth rate would affect revenue and viceversa. Most brands do this with spreadsheets which is a much arduous process. Soon after we launch the growth plan we worked on a heatmap to represent the monthly stock levels which updates as the growth plan goes up and down. Read case study

New Purchasing Flow

At the beginning of the year we set to build an end to end purchasing platform. The whole team came together to deliver the new vision with a rapid pace supporting the business strategy. Below are some of the final designs I worked on:

Cogsy Rebrand

Around the same time, we launched a new website, I worked very closely with the Marketing team and I was in charge of the full design including a rebrand and assets creation.

We launched the redesign with a very bold approach as shown above. There was a lot of copy to fit in so I played with the size and position of the text to make it more digestible and try to fit copy and visual within the fold as much as possible.

Later on we iterated on the copy so we also adapted the design to a more contained and conventional layout.
